Background :
PR-2 (Pathogenesis-related protein 2) is involved in the defence of plants against pathogens. This protein has a catalytic activity and is hydrolysing of (1->3)-beta-D-glucosidic linkages in (1->3)-beta-D-glucans, EC=3.2.1.39.
