The GPIbb insert in the plasmid was cloned from chicken blood plasma. Please note that Addgene's sequencing results differ from the depositing laboratory's predicted sequence and GenBank's predicted sequence XM_003642172.1. When compared to XP_003642220.1, the HA tag appears to be inserted at aa20. The insertion of the HA tag was based on the signal peptide predictions for GPIbb and the construct has been tested functionally for proper surface expression of the protein by the depositing lab.
