growth notes :
Note: Addgene's sequencing results indicate the presence of several nucleotide inserts (starting at bp# 2459, 2501 and 2516) and several gaps (at bp# 5352-5386) when compared to the sequence provided by the depositing laboratory. The depositing scientist confirmed that our sequencing result is correct and the differences do not affect the function of the plasmid. The plasmid map and sequence from the depositing laboratory lists EcoRI as the 3' cloning site; however, this site was destroyed during cloning. Please see the Addgene's sequencing results for cloning details. The beta-actin insert in the plasmids contains a E237A mutation when compared to GenBank reference sequences. This mutation was unintentional, but present in the initial clone. The plasmid functions as described in the associated publication.
