growth notes :
The OVA cDNA was removed from pOVA(230) (McReynolds et al., 1978) by digestion with EcoRI and subcloned into the polylinker of pUG-1. This provided convenient BglII and HindIII restriction sites adjacent to the ovalbumin cDNA for direct subcloning into the BamHI-HindIII site of the pHBetaAPr-1-neo express vector.
