growth notes :
The mutations occur on the androgen receptor KVFF motif in the P-box of the zinc finger 1 that make contact with DNA. AR mutants of the KVFF motif would lose activity to activate AR-mediated transcription. Please Note: This plasmid contains a 6x Gln deletion in the 23x Gln track and a 8x Gly deletion in the 23x Gly track in androgen receptor compared to the depositor's provided sequence. These differences are not known to affect the function of the protein.
growth strain :
Lenti-viral expression of human androgen receptor DNA-binding mutant: K580A-V581A, mutations in the P-box of the zinc finger 1 at the KVFF motif.
