Steve Ekker clone A, in vector pT7TS. Citation: Ekker et al. (1995), Current Biology 5:944-955. T7TS-twhh was made by insertion of twhh open-reading frame into the SpeI site of the pT7TS vector. This vector adds Xenopus laevis -globin 5 and 3 untranslated sequences to the inserted open-reading frame for increased transcript stability. The ORF was made by PCR using the following primers and appropriate cDNA as template:(5 -GGACTAGTCACCATGGA-CGTAAGGCTGCA-3 ), and (5 -AGCATACTAGTA-GTCTCAACTTAAGTGTAA-3 ).
