Background :

HNF-3M-NM-2 (Hepatocyte nuclear factor 3 beta, forkhead box A2, FoxA2) is a homeodomain containing transcription factor and is a member of the Hepatocyte Nuclear Factor family (HNF-1M-NM-1, HNF-1M-NM-2, HNF-3M-NM-1, HNF-3M-NM-2, HNF-3M-NM-3, HNF-4M-NM-1, HNF-4M-NM-3, HNF-6M-NM-1 and HNF-6M-NM-2), whose members regulate the transcription of numerous hepatocyte genes in adult liver. HNF-3 members bind to DNA as monomers using a winged helix DNA-binding domain. HNF-3M-NM-1 and HNF-3M-NM-3 have also been shown to be involved in gastrulation events such as body axis formation.

Immunogen :

This HNF-3M-NM-2 / FOXA2 antibody was raised against a recombinant protein corresponding to amino acids 7-86 of rat HNF-3M-NM-2 /FOXA2.
