Human Cystatin F, His Tag (CS7-H5222) is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293). It contains AA Gly 42 - His 167 (Accession # AAH15507).

SDS-PAGE Remark(R&NR) :
Human Cystatin F, His Tag on SDS-PAGE under reducing (R) condition. The gel was stained overnight with Coomassie Blue. The purity of the protein is greater than 95%.
Formulation :
Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS, pH7.4. Normally trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization. Contact us for customized product form or formulation.

Storage :

Background :
Cystatin-7 (CST7) is also known as Cystatin-F, Cystatin-like metastasis-associated protein (CMAP), Leukocystatin, which is a disulfide-linked homodimer belongs to the cystatin family. CST7 is primarily expressed in peripheral blood cells and spleen. CST7 inhibits papain and cathepsin L but with affinities lower than other cystatins. CST7 may play a role in immune regulation through inhibition of a unique target in the hematopoietic system.
