  • February, Danaher Corporation (NYSE: DHR) acquired the Biopharma business of GE Life Sciences for $21.4 billion. Danaher's Life Sciences segment has Pall, Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, SCIEX, Leica Microsystems, Molecular Devices, Phenomenex, and IDT businesses.
  • February, Danaher acquired the biopharma business of General Electric Life Sciences for $21.4 billion, renaming the business later as Cytiva. Cytiva includes ÄKTA (chromatography systems), Amersham (imaging systems), HyClone (cell culture and fermentation process products), MabSelect (a BioProcess protein A resin), Whatman (lab supplies and consumables such as filters, devices, and membranes).
