Detection of Human TGF-beta RII by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of HepG2 human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line, Hep3B human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line, U-118-MG human glioblastoma/astrocytoma cell line, HT1080 human fibrosarcoma cell line, and DU145 human prostate carcinoma cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 2 ╡g/mL of Goat Anti-Human TGF-beta RII Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF-241-NA) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF017 ). A specific band was detected for TGF-beta RII at approximately 75 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1 .

Western blot analysis of TGF beta Receptor II on different lysates with Rabbit anti-TGF beta Receptor II antibody (HA721480) at 1/1,000 dilution. Lane 1: A549 cell lysate (20 µg/Lane) Lane 2: Rat lung tissue lysate (40 µg/Lane) Predicted band size: 65 kDa Observed band size: 80 kDa Exposure time: 1 minute 37 seconds; 4-20% SDS-PAGE gel. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (HA721480) at 1/1,000 dilution was used in 5% NFDM/TBST at room temperature for 2 hours. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody (HA1001) at 1:100,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.
