I have questions about the AE5 antibody from your company.
We have AE5 to use for Western blotting.
The Western blotting analysis gives us the information that AE5 detects around 60 and 75KDa bands from
the gingival cells, whereas it does around 75KDa single band from buccal mucosa and palatal cells.
Which do you think CK3 band is, 60 or 75KDa?
Is it possible for AE5 to crossreact other CKs? If so, what a kind of CK(s) is it?
The immunogen of AE5 is described only rabbit corneal epithelial keratins (whole proteins) on the datasheet.
Do you know the epitope of AE5?
Have you ever done epitope mapping to identify the epitope of AE5?
Could you show us the references if you know?
Your attention to my question would be much appreciated.
Sincerely yours,
Toshiyulki OWAKI

Thanks for your question. Labome does not sell products directly, we work with high-quality reagent suppliers and organize their information at Labome. Please let us know the company you purchased the antibody from, so your question can be directed to the correct supplier.
