Product Description :
CD61 (GPIIIa) is a glycoprotein found on megakaryocytes, platelets and their precursors. CD61 antigen plays a role in platelet aggregation and also as a receptor for fibrinogen, fibronection, von Willebrand factor and vitronectrin. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry . Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry : 1:25-1:50 for 60 min at RT (frozen & formalin/paraffin). Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Tonsil Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 xA1C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20 xA1C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 xA1C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
