Recognizes bovine Goa (100%). Strong reactivity with human (70%), rat (61%) and mouse (54%). Slight reactivity with guinea pig (27%). Specificity confirmed by Western Blot versus bovine Gat, rat Goa, Gia1, Gia2 and Gia3; mouse GoaA and GoaB. The carboxy-terminal splice variants of Goa (GoaA and GoaB) expressed in bacterial lysates were compared for reactivity and found to be equal. As GoaA and GoaB have >95% homology to rat Goa1 and human Goa2.
